Hey there, friends! I'm so glad you're tuning in today, because I've been looking forward to sharing my upcoming plans for the year ahead.
Lord willing, the podcast and blog will focus on two distinct formats. The first will center on the current Bible study I’m leading, alongside our scripture memory project. The second will feature interviews where we discuss what it looks like to cultivate a well-tended heart in various seasons of life. To accommodate this shift, episodes will now release seasonally each year from September through April.
I’m really looking forward to our Fall Bible study! We’ll be going through Romans 8 Mindset: Learning and Living the Word of God by Pam Gillespie. Her inductive Bible study approach is wonderfully flexible, making it ideal whether you have a very busy schedule or a lot of time to dive deeper. Following that, in the winter and spring of 2027, we'll be studying Pam Gillespie's guide on 1 John.
You are more than welcome to work through the study along with us—in fact, you'll get much more out of it than by just listening to the podcast or reading the blog posts! I've included a link in the show notes so you can purchase your copy (or if you're reading this online, you can simply click HERE). Each week, I'll share key takeaways from my own study time and offer practical ways to apply these truths to daily life. We'll also be memorizing Romans 8 together, and the next episode will break down exactly how that memory challenge will work.
The biggest shift for the show will be these heart-to-heart guest conversations, where we'll explore what a well-tended heart looks like across different seasons of life. For our very first interview, I can’t wait to sit down with Cassie and Rebecca from the Shepherd’s Scripture Sisters to discuss contentment and gratitude during the busiest times of the year. You will definitely not want to miss it!
I would love for you to join us this fall for everything taking place here at A Well-Tended Heart.
Until next time, stay rooted!
